外语教学中的动机与焦虑问题

在外语教学和实践中,在情感方面有两大误区。即重视知识和智力的发展,忽视情感发展;重视认知能力的培养,忽视情感的影响。近些年来,许多外语教师和研究者都从不同角度和侧面对外语学习中的情感问题进行了大量的研究。作为情感因素的两大方面,动机和焦虑问题也日渐引起注意。本文从动机、焦虑问题出发,结合我国大学英语教学实践对外语学习者的情感因素做以探讨,以期对改变大学外语教学费时低效的现状,做一些有益的尝试。动机通常指学生为了满足某学习愿望所做出的努力,是为学习者提供动力和指引方向的一系列因素。早期的研究者Gardner和Lambert把动机分为工具型动机和融合型动机。另一类分法是内在动机和外在动机,虽然外在动机也有利于二语学习,但更重要的是内在动机。二十世纪九十年代以来,二语研究者不再从单一的社会心理视角,而是从生理学、行为主义、认知和社会学等多视角来探讨二语学习动机。有的从理论上讨论动机的组成部分,有的用实证的方法探讨动机的内在结构。近年来  (本文共86页) 本文目录 | 阅读全文>>
